What paintball means to me and how I got introduced to it.

In 1994 I worked with a guy named Rob. He was a great advocate for the sport.He was involved with starting a paintball field (pretty much the only park at that time in North Oregon Coast). He took our friend Josh out to play and he had a great time. But they came back and razzed me about how much I would get hurt. Back then I was young and scared about it. I thought about it over the years.
I got the chance to play it only recently, and I must say. I have missed out on a lot. It does not hurt if you have the right gear. And I think that is key. Safety equipment must come first.

I would not go out and guard a hockey goal with no pads.... Would you?

Anyway, After playing this game since October 2009. I have found that it is difficult to find players. Especially if they are all out in the backyards, instead of at paintball parks.

My mission is to bring the two together. If you have a backyard field and you want people to come play.. Let me know. If you are going to a paintball park.. let me know.
Once we have the forum up and kicking we can coordinate games. and maybe take it to the next level with all out events. But we will see.
